PROJECT FOR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Project Summary

Mangalam has started a project Home Away From Home. Where three dormitory beds have been sponsored by some donor. We are requesting to sponsor 6 dormitory bed on the first floor by company/ corporate/ individual under CSR scheme. The details for sponsorship of one bed has been given below. Name of the donor/ organization will be displayed on the board and monthly statement for the facilities provided to under privileged patients will be forwarded.

Sponsor a bed – Give a gift of sleep to needy cancer patients as per annexture enclosed.

Mangalam has started a project for underprivileged poor patients who are getting treatment in hospital in Mumbai. Six dormitory beds have been provided under this scheme.

• Free dormitory accommodation for two persons, patients and attendant
• Free nutritious meals to the patients and attendants
• Free Amul Kool Milk for patients only
• Fruits are served to boost the immunity of the patients
• Meditation, yoga, and prayer sessions to boost the immunity for the patients and give a sense of well-being
• Facilities like in-house library, TV, RO drinking water, etc are available
• Devotional songs are played to relieve the excessive anxiety and stress
• Occupational therapy and good counselling are carried out for the members
• Medical aid
