60 Bed accommodation for cancer patients coming from different states of India for treatment in Mumbai is being opened on 1st May 2018. The center is located in prime area of Kharghar in 4 storied newly constructed building with lift. The facilities are for all categories of patients with comfortable stay during their treatment. Single rooms / dormitory / AC Room / Double and Triple sharing accommodation is available at the center. Breakfast @ Rs 20 and meals @ Rs 40/- is served in the Cafeteria.
Mangalam Charitable Foundation who is working for last 10 years has taken a lead to provide better facilities to common people. Their existing facilities at Ranjanpada, Kharghar has over 100% occupancy. The demand for affordable and comfortable accommodation is increasing day by day. Very few of organization are providing such facilities to out station patients due to high cost of space in Mumbai. This mission has been taken by Mangalam Foundation on past experience of operating " Home away from Home " for cancer patients. There is no advance booking at present but will be operative in due course of time on internet with free Wi-Fi facility. Conference Hall, Doctor's Chamber and Space for Free Medical Camp is available on request.
